Our Flat - Continued and the SA Lion Park

Above is the other view of our fron room.  Below is our office.

The next three are of our new bathroom.  Yes, we do have a toilet, but I chose not to take a picture of it.

Yesterday, we went to the South Africa Lion Park in northern Johannesburg.  We got to pet a lion and a jaguar, see some giraffes, ostriches, cheetahs and other animals up close. We then drove around the rest of the park and saw some zebras, elands, hyenas, wild dogs, and some African prairie dogs, like Timmon in Lion King.  We had a great time.

We will send other pictures later.  Have a great day!!!  We love you all.

This is where we eat.

This is the kitchen

This is our living/dining room.

We have more pictures of our living/dining room, office, and bathroom, but for some reason, they won't upload.  We will have to try again.

Aha!

Merry Chirstmas!!!  We finally got into our blog and we have Internet for sure, so we thought we would try this out and see how it works.  We thought you light like to see where we live.  Here are pictures of the building:

Our flat is on the third floor of our five story high rise, just to the right of the row of brown bricks on the left of the building.  It sticks out further than those around the brown bricks.

This is what we see out of our windows.

Here is our front door.

Yes, we are well protected.

Here are a couple of pictures of us.  Here is mom singing with Sister Wrench from Johannesburg and Sister Smith from England - 16 December.

Here is dad as we were leaving an Area Conference on 21 November.  On the left are the Dryers from Bountiful.  On the right are the Rakotovaos from Madagascar.  Next to them are the Hickmans from Loa, Utah.  We are standing behind the van which takes us to the temple, to church, and to other places we need to go.

That's all for now.  More will follow.  We are having lunch with the Dryers and the Hickmans today.  We are having a traditional Chirstmas Dinner - tacos.  ;-)  We hope you enjoy your Chirstmas Day.
